“Are you pointing at...me, Master Oogway?” Tigress asked, unsure how to approach the situation. She didn’t dare to hope that he was, in fact, pointing to her; becoming the Dragon Warrior would be too good to be true.

                “Him.”

                With that one word, Tigress’ hopes were shattered.  She felt overcome with an emotion entirely foreign to her, one she’d never been faced with before– jealousy.  It filled her so much that only years of vigilant training kept her in check.

                As the crowd cheered and the Panda was carried off, she came to the conclusion that she didn’t like this Panda – he awoke a new emotion in her, and she wasn’t sure she liked it.
