When she was just a cub, she’d been told tales of princesses in far off towers being rescued by their Prince Charming. Unlike other female tigers her age, she had despised these princesses – after all, they sat around all day, waiting for their ‘one true love’ to come save them. How pitiful. She vowed then that she would never allow herself to become like them – fragile and weak.

                Yet, as she helped evacuate the village in the face of the imminent arrival of Tai Lung, she couldn’t help but feel like one of the princesses – leaving it up to the ‘hero’ of the story to save them all, the one she hadn’t even believed in not too long ago. It was all up to Po now, and, with a barely concealed frown, she realized that she’d become a damsel in distress, and there wasn’t a thing she could do about it.
