Today I started preliminary work on one of my prompts for sickdean's Dean-focused hurt/comfort challenge. Its the prompt that rei17 made, an au of Dean's experience in fighting his way out of his grave in 4.01, an au that, very understandably will tackle the issue of what would have happened if Dean couldn't get all the way out in time, and what trauma that could have become. It has already taken over my brain. I've been searching for clips and stories which show the act of crawling, fighting and clawing out of you're own grave, and the trauma that leaves you with. The season five finale of CSI, "Grave Danger" has been a godsend. All I could think when I began writing is of Castiel's role in this. Because of this I have an idea of placing his voice in the story, his efforts to protect his charge and get him back to his family. Its kind of awesome to crawl through this headspace. I'm so excited to get it written, and posted!

So I'm dying. I hate, no loathe being sick. I also have an exam today. With those things out of the way, along with me feeling like I'm moving through mollases, I'm trying to pay attention to a Cherokee film on the Trail of Tears. It's hard, especially because I feel like death warmed over. Oh and still no computer. Yay, I wanna take a nap.

I have no idea why I've never thought to post this here since I'm sure more then just myself would enjoy it.

I stumbled across this video back in February whilst chatting with a friend online, and I keep coming back to it once in awhile. From what I've read in the video description by the person who made it, it is meant to be from Caspian's point of view after the Pevensies leave Narnia.

I just thought it was lovely and the song lyrics fit rather well. Not to mention it just made me adore the pairing even more.

i really don't update much and i'm really not sure why. i mean, i love to talk, but i just don't have a lot to say on here. but i guess i can talk about what's going on in my family right now:

my grandma has been having these dizzy spells lately. we all thought it might be an ear infection or something, but she's too stubborn to go tho the doctor. well, Wednesday night she had another one while my aunt (her daughter) and my aunt's daughter (my cousin) and my cousins two kids were there. she couldn't even walk because the room was spinning so fast.


well, she ended up throwing up compulsively, and they had too call the ambulance. they live in searcy, where the county hospital is, and i live about 20 minutes away from searcy, and we got there before the ambulance did, so we went to her house to see what was taking them so long. then we turned around before we got there because they finally got her on the gurney. they got her in right away, because tuesday night she had a dizzy spell, they gave her a shot of morphine (i think) and SENT HER HOME. she had low blood pressure, which runs on that side of the family, and she like 70, but they sent her home anyway.

anyway, they got her to the hospital and gava her valium, an iv drip, and something else that started with an "m". they kept her overnight, we all thought that maybe it was vertigo or something and she was feeling a lot better, and was actually able to sleep a little. then, they told us last night that it mught be MS. so, she was supposed to get a spinal tap today that would tell them, but i just found out they sent her home AGAIN. i mean, i understand that this swine flu epidemic thing is going around, but if she has another dizzy spell, she could break her neck, literally. and i don't want that.

they also said that it could be 3 weeks before she gets the spinal tap because the lady that does it is gone right now. it's a COUNTY HOSPITAL, surely more than one person knows how to do a spinal tap.



so we're all really stressed out about that, but...how is everybody else doing? any good news? cause i really need some cheering up :(

Because of the epic crash of my computer I couldn't participate in NaNoWriMo. This makes me sad, because I really wanted to. Now I'm comtemplating taking two prompts from sickdean's Dean focused hurt comfort challenge. I really want to, but I NEED a beta, someone who'll kick my ass and help me make the most badass fanfics imaginable. I love fanfic writing, I work on stories on paper with a pencil all the time, right now I have two Supernatural stories that need a little polish so they can be posted, along with four more Supernatural ones that are saved in google docs waiting to be finished. In addition to this I have three epic Susan/Caspian pieces that need to be polished, and believe me I feel awful about not being active over at susancaspian. I might get on casue100 to rectify that problem. I just need HELP. A steady and awesome beta would be awesome. And with that plea done with, I leave you with this. :)

I'm a writer, a painter, an artist with a pallete of words in addition to color. It's sad to see the eloquence of old, the books and essays, quotations and lyrics be thrown away with little regard as to what will happen to words when no longer cherished, no longer written.
